Hanna is a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, trained at the Tavistock Centre. For the past 10 years Hanna has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, building extensive experience as a mental health practitioner and clinician. She currently works for Growing Together, a parent-infant CAMHS service in Islington offering support to parents of young children. Previously Hanna has worked for 4 years at the Tavistock Adolescent Directorate, where she developed specialist expertise working with adolescents and young adults.

Hanna specialises in parent-infant and parent psychotherapy, and has experience of offering parents guidance and support with a wide variety of issues (behaviour management, sleep and feeding difficulties, toileting, attachment difficulties, somatisation, trauma, attachment difficulties and separation anxiety, difficulties with peer relationships or communication). At Growing Together Hanna also supervises, trains, and provides consultation on issues concerning parenthood and parental mental health to professionals working with young children.

Hanna is able to work both with children of all ages (0 to 18) and with their parents, offering parent only, parent-child or child only sessions, according to specific needs. Her approach is flexible, integrating her psychoanalytic knowledge of child development with attachment research and the use of mentalisation to help parents and children to communicate and understand each other, to the benefit of the whole family's well being.

Hanna's specialist areas of interest are early infancy, parenthood, adolescence, and somatization in childhood. 

Alongside her clinical work Hanna currently teaches Psychoanalytic Theory and Infant    Observation within the MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology at  the Anna Freud Centre, London.

Qualifications: BA (Honours) Degree in Psychology from Bicocca University (Milan) MA in Clinical and Community Psychology Bicocca University (Milan)  M.A Psychoanalytic Observational Studies at the Tavistock Centre, M Psych Psych (Doctoral Level) in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents at the Tavistock Centre.  She is a member of the ACP (Association of Child Psychotherapists).
