Jayne has been working as a child and adolescent psychotherapist since 2009.  She also works with adults in one to one therapy as well as supporting adults with challenges around parenting their own children and adolescents.  Jayne has extensive experience of working with children of all ages, finding the materials and methods that most suit the client and can be most effective in facilitating development and healthy emotional expression.

Prior to training as a psychotherapist Jayne worked in the Voluntary Sector, specialising in policy and user involvement work around end of life care and bereavement.  This included working on bereavement support literature for schools, helping schools support children going through grief and loss.

Jayne has a special interest in the performing arts and, as a member of a local theatre group enjoys singing, dancing and acting.  She has recently written and directed her first play and, where appropriate, integrates her love and experience of the therapeutic potential of music, drama and stories into her therapeutic work.

Qualifications: Jayne has an MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling and a BA in English Literature.
